About Us
The College of Agriculture is situated in the skirts of village Kaul in district Kaithal of Haryana. Earlier, it was associated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. With the inception of Haryana Agricultural University in the year 1970 at Hisar, the College of Agriculture, Kaul became the integral part of Haryana Agricultural University in 1974 with the idea to impart quality and scientific education to students in the field of agriculture. In the beginning, the academic session was started for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. having both i.e. 4 years and 5 years programmes at Kaul campus and the classes for 1st year under 4-year programme , 1st and 2nd years under 5-year programme were initiated. After completing the two years, the students were used to be migrated at CCS HAU, College of Agriculture, Hisar for completion of their degree programme. In the year 1983, the College of Agriculture, Kaul was upgraded to a full-fledged college for imparting education to the students for completing their B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. programme. The first batch completed the graduation in 1986. Till 2017, a total of 1275 students have completed their B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. from this esteemed college. At present, there are 195 students on roll including 55 girls admitted for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. 4- year programme.
Mandate of College
- To cater to the needs of Agricultural Education for the North-East part of Haryana.
- To have better interaction between College of Agriculture, Hisar and this part of Haryana.
- To produce competent Agricultural graduates with the knowledge of location specific problems.
